What is it?  How does it work?

Have we finally discovered the magic potion, the silver bullet for dirt, can we park our expensive truck mount and quit working so gosh darn hard?  The fact is soil crystallization can produce amazing results when used properly.

So, just exactly what is “The CPM Method” and how should I use it? The mechanism used for “The CPM Method” is an enrittling agent that changes from a liquid to a very brittle crystal as it dries. This eliminates the primary cause of rapid re-soiling…sticky residue.

These products make carpets stay clean longer by absorbing sticky soil and detergent residue and then changing to a dry brittle crystal that can be vacuumed away.

CPM can be used as a spray and brush or bonnet cleaner.  It is ideally suited to the cleaning of commercial carpets.

The spray and brush process involves applying the cleaning solution to soiled carpet and agitating the carpet so that the soil is emulsified into the liquid. Then after it dries to a brittle crystal it is vacuumed away leaving behind only clean non-sticky carpet fibers.

This process is a very quick and easy cleaning procedure.  It is ideal for cleaning of commercial fibers.

CPM can be used as a hot water extraction cleaner/rinse. This product is ideal for the extraction step of restorative cleaning. And yes, any residue dries to a brittle crystal. CPM performs the dual role of emulsifier and rinse agent.  CPM functions as an extraction emulsifier in that it contributes to the performance of pre-spray TLC and prevents re-attachment of soil to carpet fiber during the extraction process, yet CPM is also a rinse agent in that it rinses away surfactant/detergent residues and then during the drying process combines with wicking residue to form non-sticky crystal structures.
